Leather care instructions

Our products are made with genuine natural leathers from top quality European tanneries. To make the product last you need to take loving care of it. We have collected here some basic information to help you to make your leather goods last longer.

Grain leather

Mineral tanned leather is tanned using mineral tanning agents (mostly chrome). Tanning process is a lot faster than vegetable tanning process and ables the leather to be dyed in wide range of colors.

How to care:
Use a damp cloth to clean the dirt. Protect and moisturize the leather regularly with leather conditioning product that includes natural wax (for example beeswax). If leather gets wet let it dry slowly in the room temperature.

Vegetable tanned leather

Vegetable tanned leather is tanned using natural tannins found in barks, wood and other parts of plants. This is the most environmentally friendly way to tan leather.

How to care: The best way to take care of it is with a regular conditioning treatment that includes wax (paraffin or beeswax). Make notice that vegetable tanned leather gets darker during aging and especially in the direct sunlight.

Nubuck leather

Nubuck is a type of aniline leather that has a velvet like texture. The grain has not been processed, but it is brushed and polished.

How to care: Use a brush or a special nubuck rubber to clean the dirt. Protect the leather with protection spray.
